With a longstanding legacy of delivering energy solutions ranging from residential customers to large-scale off-grid commercial operations, Baker Energy Team (BET) has entered into an agreement to be acquired by 1944 Energy.

1944 Energy was founded by senior BET associate John A. Ryan and his partner Danny Montejano, who together assembled a leadership team with more than 75 years of combined experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and financing. This expertise ensures BET customers will continue to receive the same high level of service they have come to trust. Building upon the strong foundation of the BET brand and reputation, 1944 Energy is introducing a comprehensive efficiency-to-energy solution model designed to serve both residential and commercial projects nationwide. Our goal is to honor BET’s tradition of quality service while expanding opportunities and solutions for customers across the country.

As part of the sales agreement, Dusty will remain in an outside consultant role to 1944 Energy to support a seamless and successful transition. We are grateful for his continued guidance and proud to carry forward the successful legacy he created with BET. Just like with his baseball career, we are especially honored to help Dusty step out of the renewable energy game on top too.
