Dusty Baker

As a MLB player, Dusty Baker spent 16 prestigious seasons with Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Oakland. Dusty went to three World Series with the Dodgers, and beat the New York Yankees in 1981 to win the World Championship. He was named to the All-Time Los Angeles Dodger team and as a Manager named to the All-Time San Francisco Giants Team.

In 2006 Dusty Baker completed his fourteenth season as a Major League Baseball manager with a winning record of 1,162-1,041 and a .527 winning percentage. Dusty finished his career as the Chicago Cubs manager winning 322 games. Since 1930 only three other managers have more wins in a Chicago uniform. Dusty started his managerial career in 1993 with the San Francisco Giants and set the San Francisco franchise record for most wins. In the Giants franchise history dating back to 1883 Dusty Baker is second only to John McGraw in managerial wins!

After leaving Chicago, Dusty joined the team at ESPN and then went on to become the manager of the Cincinnati Reds, leading them to their first playoff in more than 15 years.

Ken Tennell

Mr. Tennell is a native Californian with over 30 years’ experience in the title insurance industry. Ken has a broad-based understanding of both residential and commercial real estate transactions and the associated business and leadership skills to successfully execute them, all of which have been fundamental to his success. He is a founding partner of Terranine Group, which was created as the development and operations arm of Lindom Company, a full-service real estate company active in the Gateway markets of the West Coast.

Ken’s knowledge and skillset are enormous assets to the Baker Energy TeamSM and of critical importance when it comes to large-scale renewable energy development projects and the acquisition of land, or negotiating land-use rights relating to their development. Like the rest of the Baker Energy TeamSM, Ken is extremely passionate about the environment. He views his role as a member of the team as an opportunity to enable both business owners and homeowners alike to participate in the proliferation of sustainable practices through the adoption of the renewable energy systems the Baker Energy TeamSM designs and builds.

Ken enjoys attending sporting events along with playing golf, fishing and hunting with his friends and family.

Brad Johnson

Brad Johnson’s career spans approximately 40 years working for companies both large and small with a particular focus on technology and energy systems. Mr. Johnson’s areas of expertise include IT management, building and training technical teams, and managing the execution of complex projects. In addition to working for Pacific Bell for 30 years, Mr. Johnson also worked for Global Crossing, Ltd. as a member of their senior technical staff working from their Tokyo and London offices with responsibilities for the technical training needs of 1400 people in 18 countries.

For the past decade, Mr. Johnson has been at the helm of his own renewable energy company focusing on the design and installation of both residential and commercial photovoltaic (PV) solar systems. His company provided a unique specialization in systems for off-grid applications that require an energy storage component. In addition to his work in renewable energy, Brad is also a dedicated outdoorsman and seasoned rock climber. Brad’s passion for the outdoors and the challenges of extreme rock climbing have led him to some of the world’s most beautiful locations, including, Yosemite’s El Capitan, the Verdon Gourge in France, and equally challenging sites in Brazil, Thailand and throughout the Swiss Alps. Brad’s time in these pristine alpine environments feeds his passion for being engaged with responsible environmental stewardship globally, and the advancement of sustainable energy practices and solutions.

Sim E. Fryson

Sim is a native of Charleston, West Virginia and is a Vietnam Veteran with more than 25 years’ experience in the automobile industry. Mr. Fryson has enjoyed a career, building, managing and leading multiple automobile dealerships to high levels of success. He was the second Black American in the U.S. to own a Mercedes-Benz dealership and the first to own the multiple import dealerships of Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Nissan and Mazda respectively. In addition to his business success, Mr. Fryson has served on multiple boards of directors and advisory councils where he has leveraged his deep business experience to provide guidance and leadership to help foster success for multiple organizations. Among the many initiatives he has advocated, Mr. Fryson has been a pioneer in the advancement of diversity in business. He spearheaded and helped to develop the Dealer-Diversity initiative for Mercedes-Benz, North America. As a Black-American business leader, Mr. Fryson has enjoyed numerous distinctions and honors, including being selected as 2002 NAACP Man of the Year, Boyd County, Kentucky. His Dealerships has been listed in Black Enterprise Magazine's top 100 Black Businesses for 11 consecutive years. He also received the prestigious Nissan Motor Company Presidential Award. Sim is also listed in the Who's Who of Top American Businessmen. Sim received his B.S. Degree in Education from West Virginia State College. He also received an associate degree in marketing and business from the University of Detroit, and graduated from the prestigious General Motors Dealer Development Academy.
